Comfort Manyame

Bio

Comfort Manyame is a Zimbabwean contemporary Christian musician based in the U.S. He attended the University of Zimbabwe for his tertiary education. He attained a Bachelor of Science degree. In 2006, he earned his doctorate degree from the University of Texas in USA.

He has released songs such as ‘Draw Me Near’, ‘Come Let Us Go’, ‘Watching Over You’, ‘New Day’, ‘Let Your Kingdom Come’, ‘Mwari Wedu Mukuru’, ‘Worship In The Secret Place’ and many others.

In 2013, he received the Zimbabwe Achievers Awards in the Best International Artist category.

Apart from music, Manyame worked as GIS Manager for Data and Business Intelligence Group at Mid-South Synergy from 2006. During his tenure, he established the first ESRI based GIS department for Mid-South Synergy, overseeing the conversion process from a CAD based system. Other positions held are as follows: Technology editor at GIS Professional (2010), Lecturer at GIS Remote Sensing at Bindura University of Science Education (2002) and Technology editor for URISA (2010).
