Caiiro, real name Patrick Dumisani Mahlangu, is a South African DJ and Producer. He was born on July 1, 1991, in KwaNdebele, Mpumalanga. He is considered to be one of the most prominent artists leading the electronic music movement in South Africa. His music style is best described as Afro-Tech and Afro-House.

Caiiro is a self-taught producer. He has invested hours into developing his skills and crafting a unique sound. Although he always loved music, his plan wasn't always to become a music producer. He was studying Applied Mathematics at the University of Pretoria when he decided to drop out to focus on his music career. He released his debut album, First Impressions, in 2016. He has since gone on to release three more albums. His latest album, the self-titled Caiiro, is arguably his most popular album yet. It features various prominent artists such as Ami Faku and Simmy. Caiiro is not only popular in South Africa but also internationally. He regularly DJs at various events worldwide.

He is also a philanthropist; he started the Caiiro in his hometown of Mpumalanga to uplift the community and help develop the skills of local aspiring artists.
