B1 (real name Bruce Simbalangwa) is a popular Zambian singer whose life as a musician began in 2003. His music is inspired by true events. In that year, B1 got into a studio and recorded a song with TK at Romaside Studios. Years later, he met Jerry Fingaz, a renowned producer who assisted him in the making of a hit song titled 'Chipute'. Some of the popular songs he has released include 'Pillow', Sikiriti Ku Bed’ featuring his sister Debra, ‘Village Girl’ featuring Ruff Kaida and 'Perfecto'. Some of the albums he has released thus far include ‘Chipute’, ‘Pillow’ and Mr. Perfecto’. Besides music, Simbalangwa is a holder of a diploma in Management Information Systems from NIPA.
