Atushe

Born John Namweya on 26 August 1976 in Tsumeb, Namibia, Atushe is an award-winning Namibian musician who is based in Windhoek. He has released numerous albums to date. In 2005 and 2006 the artist released two albums under the name Tyson, ‘Oye Naana’ and ‘Credit for My Promise’. His other albums are ‘Tangi’ (2008), ‘Imbo’ (2009) and ‘2nd Chance (Piracy/Poverty)’ (2011) and. The artist won the Best Music Video category in the 2004 Sanlam/NBC Music Awards. He won Namibian Music Awards for Best Kizomba in 2011 and 2012. He is also a keen bodybuilder and won at the 2010 Namibia Bodybuilding Championship.
