Allan Watson Waswa

Allan Watson Waswa is a Ugandan musician. He was a member of The Tabs UG band, an instrumental duet, later turned into a trio that operated between 2016 to 2019. Allan Watson Waswa started his solo act in 2020. His first album In My Dreams was published in October 2020. The collection is a mix of his nostalgic childhood memories and the challenges in his adult life, all the while exploring the sounds of his native western Uganda. After starting a violinist instrumental performer, Allan Watson Waswa reinvented himself to a vocal performer while playing his guitar. His first vocal project Kenogo was released in 2024 and tells a story of young village girl who broke tradition and proposed a romantic relationship to a boy, something that was frowned upon. His second vocal song called The Monsters Come Tonight was released in May 2025 and is about victims of domestic violence deciding to stay in toxic relationships for fear of being judged by society.
