Adelle Nqeto
Bio
Singer/songwriter from Pretoria, Adelle Nqeto began her music career as one half of the duo Flint, meet Spark, which was seen playing major South African national festivals (Oppikoppi, Rocking the Daisies, Splashy Fen) between 2012-2015. In 2013, Adelle crossed paths with Jeremy Loops, who featured her on his album ‘Trading Change’, on his track titled “Lonesome & Blue” which was released in 2014. In 2015, she decided to take a leap and start a solo project. She’s since played many South African venues and festivals including Mieliepop, Splashy Fen, Lush as well as Oppikoppi festivals in 2016 and 2017, as well as opening for Matthew Mole for his sophomore album in Johannesburg, 2016. Her first single “Make Something Beautiful” was released in October that same year, with her debut EP titled “Lights” released on the 31 March, 2017. She’s since joined forces with an eclectic group of musicians, with plans to record her debut album in 2018 as well as tour neighbouring African countries as well as European cities.
