MTN Bushfire

MTN Bushfire is an internationally-acclaimed music and arts festival held every year in Swaziland. It celebrates creative expression while promoting social responsibility, stimulating the economy and drawing talent and tourists from across Africa and around the world. In 2014 it was announced by CNN as one of the seven African music festivals you have to see.

Bushfire is attended by a multi-generational global community of more than 20 000 in the scenic farmlands of the Malkerns Valley every year. The festival features a compelling line-up of music, theatre, poetry, dance, art installations, story-telling, puppetry, film and themed workshops. A handcraft market, family-friendly performances at the KidZone, as well as the recently introduced interactive art and dialogue space, The Barn, all combine to create a three-day entertainment experience. All profits of Bushfire support local charities.
