The Price, or simply,

Worldsgreatest, is a Nigerian-born artist-entrepreneur and author considered by his audience to be the best storytelling musician alive. In the African underground music scene, in Nigeria, Worldsgreatest is widely revered as the greatest edutainer alive. On June 30, 2013 Modenine, Africa's most feared and revered rapper heard Worldsgreatest verse on the song "The Levitation" with Latibambam and asked to meet with the young rapper at his state of the art recording studio in Lovestone, Federal Housing Estate, Calabar. Note: Without altering any existing document, on November 25, 2020, he adopted his longtime artistic pseudo "Price" as a biological name at the Federal High Court in Calabar, Cross River State.

Worldsgreatest is a Tolstoyan rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, music teacher, entrepreneur, mix martial artist, public speaker and writer. His love for art started with his love for music and spoken-word poetry around the mid-80s and early '90s. Fortunately, for him his father's large vinyl collection helped fuel the music gift even though his father never consented to the career choice.

However, as an artist Worldsgreatest kept reinventing his brand and style and so kept changing his stage names until he arrived at Worldsgreatest in 2023. The name became official on May 10, 2023 when the Lucia album was released on all online streaming stores. According to him: "All those other names I ever existed as an artist are dead to me. Who I am today is Worldsgreatest, and that is all there is for the world to know or remember me as."

Early Life

Worldsgreatest hails from Ibaji L.G.A in Kogi State, Nigeria. He is of the Igala speaking tribe. Robert was born and raised in the slums of 146 Amphibious Battalion Eburutu Army Barracks Mammy Market, in Calabar with four of his siblings. His father is a tailor and the mother a house wife who supports the family by subsistent farming.

Robert is the second child of five and the first-born son. Robert did love his childhood but hates how he grew up. According to him on the song "Invictus" the second track on the Lucia album;

So memories of the humiliation he and his family went through in poverty were to give him the thirst for money, power and respect.
