Diana Bada

Diana Bada is a genre-blending Afro Fusion singer, songwriter, and performer whose music fuses rich African rhythms with global sounds, poetry, and purposeful storytelling. Drawing from her multicultural roots, she combines elements of jazz, soul, reggae, hip-hop, and spoken word.
A conscious performer and lyrical storyteller, Diana’s work is emotionally charged and socially aware, driven by a mission to uplift, challenge, and connect.
With two albums (Wardrobe Sessions, 2011 and Be, 2014) and the EP Goody Too (2021), she continues to evolve sonically while staying rooted in authenticity.
Her upcoming EP, led by the bold single Break Dem(2025), pushes boundaries with themes of justice and resistance.
Diana’s career spans collaborations across Africa, Europe, and the U.S., working with respected artists like DJ Vadim and Modul/DJ Mango of the Hungarian crew Gimmeshot. She has contributed to projects including to the U.K reggae/dub group The Breadwinners’ album By the Sweat of My Brow, the Lagos Sessions album by Spanish group Billy Bao, and the World Youth Forum Theatre anthem Standing Now As One in Egypt.
She is also a lead vocalist of the international collective Blamestyle, which includes U.S. producers Heuristik and U.K. rapper Scorzayzee. The group released an album Golden Age,2022.
Diana is also the founder of Boulevard Entertainment, a Lagos-based platform for live music and artistic collaboration. She has led bands such as The Afro Souljahs and D’Expressions, bringing dynamic performances to stages across Nigeria and parts of Africa. Beyond performance, Diana is deeply engaged in community-based and experimental art.Since COVID, she has created workshops and immersive sound installations in underserved urban areas of Lagos, exploring themes of displacement, marginalised voices, street children, and the socio-cultural impact of capitalism.
With performances in cities such as London, Moscow, Budapest, Nairobi, Accra, and Cape Town, Diana Bada is a powerful global voice from Africa, unapologetically conscious, deeply soulful, and always evolving.
